When the serious long term snow comes, how many of you pull the steel and grab the snares and snowshoes??

Me! Also depending on what I am trapping. I look forward to some snow to break things up a bit. Easier to find sign and to find out what is really going on in the country. Coyotes here dont start working sets until it is at least cold. Have had bait piles out since the end of deer season with out any activity. Snow does help.

I'm between Zimm and Princeton with no snow. Our sugar sand/clay has turned into concrete. Spent 10 min hammering out a trap bed and ended up with nothing but frozen chunks.

Time to go to flat/hay sets or portable dirt holes in the open and snares in the thick stuff.

Roll bales are mouse/Fox/Yote magnets. The only prob is getting a good trap bed in frozen concrete. Punch a hole in the side of one and put some Just Mice bait and put some rude call like Gusto or Violator 7 on top of the bale.
