Rolling along today came to a lynx in a cubby set. Cat was just laying down, typical behavior, nice tom.

I got out my dispatch snare and was opening the loop when the cat stood up. Well I had to do a double take
when I seen no trap on any foot! I eased the loop around the head and dispatched the cat. Only then did I notice
just where the cat was caught.
Man... that had to be uncomfortable and it wasn't just the tail that got pinched !!

Sat on you trap! Ha! From the looks of things he still fought for awhile. I don't know if I would fight or hold real still caught in that situation. Haha (nervous laugh)!

I know a couple guys that have caught lynx like that. That is the bad thing about getting older and things start hanging lower every year. Watch yer self men.
