Im in the process of going from a bait "bag" and set making bag to one bag. I bought No BS bag and its OK but the outside pockets that hold 16 ounce bait containers sure are a pain to get out. Is there any other decently priced options that will hold a heavy hammer, drill, and all the other necessities along with 6-10 outside pockets for bait and lure?

Check out the Trappers Tote that MNTrapline has. I think they are out right now but other trapping suppliers sell them too. 20" Long x 9" wide X 12 deep with 17 pockets.

20 inch construction bag from Lowe’s. I like that they have a shoulder strap as well as handles.

Posco, those bags are top shelf. I just toss it on the front rack of the ATV with a couple bungies and I'm good to go.

I’m with Gray Beard and Posco.

First time using it this year. No complaints. Love the strap.

You can always add a nail apron to bucket or bag for larger items

I do the same but often don't even bother to tie it off. Good bag no doubt.

For $32 you won't find a better predator bag. The big pockets on each side hold a 16oz jar of bait perfectly. The other outside pockets hold 4oz lure or bottles of urine. I don't even use the inside pockets but I don't carry much selection. I can hold everything I need in here for sets as well as the traps. I'm on my fourth season with mine and it'll go a fifth easily. Best investment I made.

This bag is great for me with different bags for different uses.
One is for trail cameras and tools of that trade.

I prefer to keep my scent/lure gear seperate to the rest of my trap gear, especially since I've had homemade lures burst the bottle they were in, I bought 2 smallish tool bags about 10 years ago and I can comfortably carry 5 X #3 bridgers (heavy modified) with 10 rebar stakes plus everything else I need.
My lure bag is also my "in the field", scent extraction bag with syringes and spare bottles and I don't want my traps being dug up because they've been scented.
Just a thought, good luck with the new gear bag. I set my first "cow skull set" here yesterday.

I agree. Use the heck out of John's stuff for my wolf line which usually means a pack into set locations. I put the waxed dirt bag into the backpack bag (otter bag pictured here) and 2-3 wolf traps w/ 8-10' chain, cable tie offs, pounder, trowel, waxed paper and gloves in the bag too. Easily 30+lbs of stuff or (way) more if you throw a couple drags in there too. I handle the lure in a separate bag and cut off the lure pouches since I didn't need them. Headed in with a sled full of bait and couple traps here. I've used his stuff pretty hard and love it.
