I emailed them about it and received a response from the president of the company that owns Stormy Kromer. I thought that was neat, but doesn't change the fact they're using an inferior product. She said they had done some experimenting with muskrat specifically which I also thought was cool. In fact, if they made a hat with muskrat, I'm sure many on here would buy one or two. Here's part of her response. "To be completely honest, the production processes with actual fur are quite different and our production team does not have those skills at this time to create a quality product."

LOL,,When I was younger I don't care how cold out it was,,I didn't get cold.My father in law and I used to go ice fishing when it was 10 below,,and I had on was jeans and just a Carhart jacket.He thought I was NUTS.I cant do that any more.The cold gets to me now a bit.This hat is awesome.If you get one,,you wont be sorry.
