Weld a 1.5" flat washer about 2/3 down stake. It will keep it from spinning and make it much harder to pull up....including by you

Put another swivel on the end of the chain and double stake doing a crossways configuration.

I made them about 12" long. 1/2" rebar with a flat washer on top. Cut the top off and weld 2 of them together so its 24" long. 12" rebar stake is near worthless.

I make all my stakes 24", just like I cut all my firewood the same...so it can be used anywhere!

I use 18- 24 in. 3/8s rebar depending how long the piece is to cut up washer on top roughly same length of chain Leave a little sticking up so the chain can swivel around the stake
