a year ago if you asked me if 500 rounds of 308 was enough I might have said yes , I get less and less sure every day.

Places here haven't had ammo for almost a year, on order. So what stores are getting this ammo ?

Local Mom & Pop gun shop is getting a shipment in today or tomorrow of 9mm, 45acp, 223/556.
Walmart has several cases of 12ga and 20ga. As well as a limited supply of 28ga. no metallic ammo
Gander Outdoors has several pallets of 12ga & 20ga ammo. They also have all sorts of odd ball metallic caliber ammo.
Dunns Sporting Goods has 9mm and 45ACP with a limit of 1 box per customer (raised the price of their ammo. and the price of powder went up by $7/lb)

I saw a 333 pack of 22 LR on a auction last night. It was $75 and had an hour to end. They had two boxes of Rem 12 1oz 7 1/2 shot. One was $21 and the other $19. A 5 pack of 00 buck in 12 ga was $12. Some people are nuts is all I can tell you.

Seems like i heard this all before like maybe 5 years ago

I went and looked today and they had several 50 ct. bags of Winchester brass in .300 Savage... I didn't see a limit on brass but they were limiting ammo to 1 box per customer.

Lots of .270 brass too.

Nobody was showing up for work cause of covid and making more money on unemployment!

it cost a lot of green to tool up , to up your production,if you don't make your money back while demand is high to pay for your expanding business 'tooling /shop, ,you could end up with financial problems and lose everything, you can't just tool up over night it take's time.if demand were to die off you could be sitting on pricey tools that are just idling..

Went to a local gun shop for a new castle nut they had some ammo and were limiting it to 5 boxes. I got 3 boxes of tulammo even though I don't like that brand. But if it hits the fan and I need it or if someone is desperate I can use it or sell it lol

A cousin posted on fb yesterday he can't find ammo lately. Told him it's been like that for about a year. He said he's stocking up because of the anti gun bills Biden is pushing. He then said he voted for Biden too. Had to shake my head
