Saw Bob Seger System in the late 60s--at that time Ramblin Gamblin Man was his first hit song. It would be a few years before he had his long string of hits. Used to win concert tickets quite often Saw Johnny Cash.My wife is a country fan so she had her doubts when I won tickets to see Paul Revere and The Raiders, this was after lead singer Mark Lindsey had left. Revere put on such an entertaining show ,my wife said it was the beat concert she had ever seen. Took my wife and daughter to see Chris Hillman(Original Byrds Bassist) when he had the popular country band--The Desert Rose Band. After the concert he was signing autographs,so we went over to get one. I was asking Chris if my wife could take his picture, before I finnished asking--my wife snapped a picture. I apologised for her not waiting for his ok.He laughed ,got up ,and said come with me---he took us around the building and had my wife take pictures of him with my daughter and myself. Here was a soon to be--Member of the Rock n Roll hall of fame--going out of his way,to make us happy. I will never forget Hillmans kindness or the pictures. Tom

I really like Jethro Tull, his flute sound has never been topped! That said I am a big fan of DR. Hook and the Medicine Show also!
you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

John, don't forget J.D. Souther--he madeup the rest of the Souther/Hillman/ Furay band. I really liked Joe Walsh and tThe James Gang,He also performed with another group,Barnstorm--before really hitting the big time as a member of The Eagles. Tom

No one else likes Jethro Tull?? I love JT, that music played nonstop in Vietnam. Along with Hendrix, Joplin, The Doors, CCR, and Don McLean

Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Bonham , and John Paul Joans It's like the stars aligned, what are the odds? I've never been a big Zep fan but you're got to hand it to them.
