15 plus percent increase. I suppose anything is possible with multiple more stimulus bills, plus the FED will reignite QE. The free market is increasing bond yields, the FED won't tolerate that much longer.

There is no chance interest rates will rise this year.. Everybody is getting on the train when it's ready to go off the cliff. Keep some powder dry

If they start pumping more cash into the system it will just drive the 10 year note's yield that much higher. The fed is really in a bind IMO.

IMHO the FED has been in a bind since they tried to solve the 08 crisis by lowering rates to zero and QE.

Tjey will have to pump more money into the system. It isn't the right thing to do but they'll do it anyway.

I agree. Been a long time. But look at Japan. They have been in negative real territory for decades and can't find a way out.

The problem today is the ten year yield is rising very quickly............due to increased perception of inflation. The fed doesn't dare add cash or that will just heighten that perception and push that yield even higher. Add 1.9 trillion from congress and it will just compound the problem.

I think, at this point , the only tool the Fed has left is to manipulate the yield curve at all maturities. That will work for a day or two but everyone can see through that.

The deficit is past the point of fix or repair in any ones life time over 45, not going to happen and even trying to do so most won't live to see an equality in spending and use.

I'm sorry about it as well, the kids kids don't have much chance either, terribly said but we the people are as responsible for it as the government printing it.

One cannot just stand by and expect the government change anything with out speaking out in force enough to make your self heard, this country has not the fortitude to do so at this time !!

Just sold some number 1 bare bright copper today $2.85 and rising. Scrap is rising. After selling sheet for 50.00 a ton. Good to see it at 130.00 a ton now. Something is rising Stock market has sure turned. Waiting to watch it settle so I can buy.

Ken, no way can they let rates rise. They will destroy the $ before they figure out how bad they messed up although they will blame it on the Russians(sarcasm)

For sure there is no way THEY will raise rates but the bond market is a pretty powerful thing.

The bond market, ie the free market, is a powerful thing and eventually it will win. I don't think today is the day though. If the free market is allowed to raise long term interest rates it will destroy the housing bubble and for then for sure it's game over.

Anyways, bitcoin is down to 44 and change, possible buying opportunity coming up.

Bitcoin broke 60k early this morning. About a 100 off atm. Litecoin getting closer to it's all time high.

60,415 was the high according to coinbase.
