Came to Fairbanks for a few days. Got my furs sealed and sold some as well. Gonna ship the rest to get tanned. Here is a picture of my cross alongside a big male. Thats a pretty cross fox, love the dark face.

None at this time. I have used the temporary sealing form and had no problems. Lynx, otter, and wolf need cities tags. Can't send them out of state, like a tannery, without I think. Wolverine needs a tag, but it's not a cities tag. Has that been a problem?

Went and checked all my wolf gear and the few wolverine sets I have out. It was a wonderful sunny day though the breeze was a little chilly. On the way out I noticed a cool little phenomena! The same thing happened three or four winters ago. It seems to happen when suddenly warms up and snows while there is just the right amount of wind. I think they are pretty neat! If you look close you can see the layers rolled over each other as they formed. One place on the river had several hundred. They are not quite at large as the last time I saw them, but some were a foot in diameter. Anyway a rarity for around here. Put on 70 miles and didn't find a fresh wolf or wolverine track, but there was just about every other critter running around. I saw fresh moose, rabbit, squirrel, weasel, mink, lynx, fox, otter, ptarmigan, mouse, and even marten tracks.

Good looking fox bfisch.. I saw those snow balls rolled up like that once on my line from up on a ridge. Couldn't figure it out with the binoculars so had to run down there and investigate what the tracks were. They were rolling all the way across this flat. Really neat. You had a good season and thanks for posting

Was it an east or south wind that did it ?
Was the cross fox a female ?
I was not present when it was happening, but by the looks of it it was a south southeast wind. The time I was present when it was happening it was then southeast wind. Yeah, the cross was a female.
