I'm not sure what to consider a town.
My township has a municipal building, no police department, two guys who work 2 days a week at the local convenience center (dump) and 3 days a week as the road crew, clean up crew, etc.
The township 100yds from me has no municipal building, a K-8 school with 100 students, and the mayor, treasurer, and tax assessor work out of their living rooms. The town council has been the same 3 farmers for 20 years because they can't talk anyone else into running. They take turns being the mayor.
But, 15 minutes away I have a Walmart and a "town" of 20,000 people.

My town had a sign at the city limit (just off I-29) advertising all of our immenteties. 12 bars, 12 churches, 3 restaurants. Slightly embarrassing. 52 in my graduating class.
I will gladly feast on those who would subdue me.

It is beautiful country but I always wondered if the winters wouldn't weed most people out. Of course trackin lions might warm a mans blood no matter what the wind chill.
