It can here! Unless you got a boat and I don’t! The lake never freezes either

That guy's at least 5lbs

LOL,the guy holding the bass(KyTrapper) is the one in that picture that weighs ,at least 5 Lbs. The Bass looks to be about a pound.
Ky,have you ever used frogs as bait for bass?
Frogs and salamanders were always my go to bait for largemouth bass.

I have used top water frogs and plastic Texas rigged salamanders.

He was about a pound that pond is over stocked with bass so the guy is letting us keep bass and stock an under stocked pond.

Any of you guys ever caught a pound blue gill? It’s fun! It’s a fight and a half!

Ky, not big on artificials when fishing. Live frogs and salamanders for me.
Started selling worms and frogs when I was 10 years old.At that time I sold frogs for 3cents each and worms for a nickel a dozen.

How did you hook the frog?

Frogs and salamanders were hooked through the lips.While I often used them as top water baits,mOST TIMES i USED THEM WITH a larger sinker.

Most of what we have in PEI is trout, so I mainly use worms.

I like red worms better than big fat earth worms I seem to have more bights that way. Cat fish I have caught on worms and bluegill as cut bait

I'll be sure to get some pics posted one season opens on April 15th!

For trout, we just hit the lake trout hard in the winter then again in summer trolling.
