Quit buying groceries at Walmart. You could save 20 bucks at least going to a regular grocery store. Aldi's will save you even more. I don't think you even read advice others give you because if you do you sure don't take it. Better save some of that money too because you will need it at tax time next year if you file. LLL what we have here is a failure to communicate. There are some people you just can't reach and that leeds us to what we have here.

Its the opposite here in my area of PA. The grocery store north of me is incredibly higher in price than the walmart to the south.
It is not that way here. They prey on food stamp folks that do not pay for their own food so they really do not care what it costs as long as they can get everything at the same stop. I am NOT saying Dave (coonman) is on food stamps but am saying he is paying for convenience. I bet he drives right by the grocery store like Aldi's on his way to Walmart. White Trash you are correct. I might as well speak in Greek. He needs to stop trapping also but he won't listen especially now that GFW through him a few bucks more. Stimulus will keep him busy for a few weeks before he pees it away. SMH. Some people you just can't reach. LLL

Don't 4get to claim fur check on income tax next year! If he gets audited he will wished he had. Lots of tax dodging trappers out there don't realize the IRS tracks stuff like that especially out of country fur checks like NAFA and can go back 3 years on you. LLL

Dave, grocery shopping is just that--shopping for the best prices.Because of my wifes health issues,I have been doing the grocery shopping for a while. The bulk of my purchases are at Aldi's,on some items they are almost half the price of the larger grocery stores.Milk, baking products and bread are just a few of the things that are always cheaper at Aldi's. Bread for instance--85 cents a loaf, At times I have bought it there for 49 cents a loaf.I will buy several loaves and put them in the freezer. But I do go over the bigger grocery stores ad,sale items at times even beat Aldi prices.Meat is often bought at the larger grocery, where family packs are on sale for a real good savings. When I get home the family packs of meat are broken down into 1 meal servings ,rewrapped and put in the freezer. As an example right now ,pork chops are $1.69 a pound about a buck a pound cheaper than Aldi's. Before I go shopping,I make up a list of what I need and list the sale prices are at ,at the big store.I start out at Aldi and if something is cheaper there than the ad price at the big store--I purchase it. Making my new lists out right now for tomorrows trip to the grocery store. My wife says I am one heck of a shopper LOL. Take this to heart Dave-and save. Tom

I have a store that will price match everyone else in town if they have it so I save driving all over to get what is on sale. I start at Aldi's though for the basics like milk, produce and cereals, baked goods and spices. LLL

Don't 4get to claim fur check on income tax next year! I also record scrap metal hauls, although both my trapping and scrapping are peanuts compared to other people. I record my mileage and that all goes into my combo of micro gigs (mostly on-line selling). Interesting how my costs about exceed my income from them--not really planned but it just works out most years. They haven't asked me to stop because its a "hobby" yet...

Yes coonman don't forget to take that loss on your trapping business. Should reduce the amount you pay on your wage job.

The only time I stop at it is when I need something quick and am going past it. And there deli fried chicken is the best. They are just about equal distance from the house and walmart wins most of the time. There is an Aldis about 15 miles away, I will have to try it.
