Tom, we must have gotten our first shots about the same time as I get my second next Friday. I had a bit of a sore arm for one day after the first shot. My wife got her second shot about two weeks ago, she had a nasty headache the next day that only lasted about 5 or 6 hours.

Also remember a lot of people have had covid and have immunity before the shots came out and a lot of 5hose with bad health died.

Dose anyone else see a correlation with more people with immunity and the weaker having died already having an effect on the lower death and hospitalization rates? Also viruses typically get less deadly as tr they mutate

I personally know of a few people that had weeks to live if that on hospices that died from cancer. I have an acquaintance that died on vacation on a motorcycle wreck.

Charlie boy.....I can call you that cause we are the same age. First, I do not wish the vaccine won't work. Re read my earlier post, that you seem to have heartburn about. All you keep spouting is the worn out rhetoric that is on the news nonstop. No one that is a responsible person, that is in their right mind would take an experimental shot that actually does nothing. I've heard all the aurguments, and no, I'm not taking it! Consider for just a moment that if bill gates got his way, and realisticly he could have, and this shot is all about reducing population, then what? I know that just gives you and yours ammunition to call me a tinfoil hat, but I'm not that way. Just consider how many people could die. I'm not saaying this is gonna happen, but an unvetted, rushed through, shot that has already killed quite a number of people......makes my eyebrows go up. The vogue right now seems to be everyone rushing to get a shot, and then bragging about getting it! I have no problem with proper vaccines, I got all my shots, and my kids got theirs, But I'm not buying into this lunacy! I live out on a little farm, away from folks. A neighbor a quarter mi away had the china virus, it's around. I'm not wearing a mask and I'm not scared to go where I need to go, If the crap kills me, it was ment to be!

Hospitals are being paid if it is covid on the death certificate. Money talks and BS walks. I find it funny that anyone would have been so scared of dyeing with a 99.7 % death rate, even with fudged numbers, that they would rush out and get this shot that is owned and pushed by a snake oil sales man. How do they know your symptoms will be less after the shot? Can they tell me what mine will be with out it? Its not that I want the shot to fail, it just I can't see what it can do for me. I guess I don't believe Bill Gates or Fauci. But if it make you sleep better at night, go get in line and see what it does for you. From the article I original posted, it says "Doctors say even those who required hospitalization after being vaccinated had milder symptoms." They must not have been real mild symptoms or they would not have been hospitalized. Does any of it from day one add up?

All four caught COVID and two were hospitalized, and one died. They were all healthy and in their 40s, 50s, and 60s. My SIL received the IV antibodies and recovered after about three weeks. The remaining two women in the group are still very sick.

I hear you can still get covid-19, just not as bad.

They just keep milking it for all they can get out of it! When they start saying things like "the only way out", they lost me long ago. What happened to heard immunity that they were touting?

I think the important thing to focus on is if the vaccine (or of bh27295 says experimental vaccine) can reduce the severe covid/death rate in the vulnerable population. Say for example if the death rate for 60+ was 5%, is it reduces to 1% or less?

I was hesitant to a certain point to get the vaccine, but I know some pretty smart folks who got it and figure, well....what the heck (it was much more complicated than that in reality). I don't like putting unnecessary things in my body and would prefer it take care of its own business. But, if it did actually work when I likely contract it someday and reduce my chance of dying from 2 in 1000 to 1 in 1000........well, I'm gambling it's worth the chance. I have a 4 month and 3 year old and a wonderful wife that make me personally weigh all the odds. Not to mention I love and respect most of my fellow man. Happy trapping! ScottW
