nova is out of surgery and is in recovery .......she'll be sedated for awhile according to docs.............ty everyone for the prayers and words of encouragement!! means alot to our family we couldn't let her have her coon skin because drs were concerned about possibility of germs...............so it'll be here when she gets back home ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2021/04/full-4200-94165-sleepy_nova.jpg)

Glad to hear. She will be cranky for a while. I hope she recovers well. The first day after surgery will tell you how recovery will go. Kids bounce back incredibly fast.
I call BS on them not letting the coon pelt in. I have a picture of my 10 day old son swaddled in a beaver pelt after heart surgery riding around in the wagons at the Mayo Clinic pediatric cardio intensive care unit. If I knew how to post a pic I could prove it.

thanks guys!!!...........its times like these when you do realize how important some things truly are!! i'm thankful the creator kept me around to bless me with grandkids..............I was pretty rugh and tumble back in the day.
