I have an abundance of ripe persimmons and would like to make a food bait for yotes/fox/raccoon. What do you use for a preservative to keep the persimmons from rotting after running them through the blender. Will glycerin work?

Sodium Benzoate is a preservative, Glycerin is an anti-freeze

You can ferment them prior to adding preservatives.
The fermentation will help preserve them and help keep it from freezing.
