Three so far this week, plus a coon that some stray dogs killed in my trap. The top 'yote was a jip, caught in a Duke #1.75, offset, 4x4, at a set I learned from Barry Goe, with coyote scat & Southern Snare's Coyote Urine. The middle coyote was a vocal male, caught in a Sleepy Creek #1.75 offset, 4x4, at a 2-Scat set, using Southern Snare's Coyote Urine, Mark June's "Coyote Frenzy", and coyote droppings. The bottom was another jip, caught in a Duke 650 offset, 4x4, at a urine post set, using Southern Snare's Bobcat Urine & Mark June's "Smokey Post."

Nope it'll be my fourth, the first I caught nothing, the second I only ran dp's and caught a few coon, last season I almost strictly water trapped but dabbled in fox trapping some, this will be the first season I have seroiusly targeted canines. But I've always wanted to catch a coyote since that first season. Well, congratulations! I can still see my first ever coyote back in March of 2018. That was my first season, but it took 3 months straight of trying to get 'em! Stay after 'em!

Got these two jips yesterday! #9 & #10 for the season! Cooler temps are sure helping! The first one was caught in a Sleepy Creek #1.75 close-jaw 4x4, that Strained Chains Trapline Modifications Canadian-jawed for me, at a dirt hole set, using Young’s Bait & Lure Co.'s "Ambush" predator bait, Southern Snares' "Bango Tango" bobcat gland lure, and Winter Wildlife Control's Bobcat Urine. Left paw pad catch...no way she was getting out of that rascal! The 2nd one was caught in a Duke 550, at a Flat Top Set, using Young’s Bait & Lure Co.'s "Ambush," and Predator Potion's "Predator Bait #1", in addition to Southern Snares' Mink urine. Right paw pad catch once again!

I got two foxes today and missed one at two different sets lol. Both foxes were caught in mb 450s at step down dirtholes with leggetts fox #2. One looked good but the other had mange. The fox I missed again has worked my sets two days in a row, he has figured out how to tell where the trap is then he uses his toenails to pull my pan cover off neat as can be then digs the hole out from the side, he'll have to slip up eventually though. If anyone wonders what my sets look like this is pretty much it. They vary some depending on soil type and ground cover but thats pretty much as fancy as I get.

Last week wasn't the greatest ... no coyotes, but at least we got a 'cat! Top coon was caught in a Duke 550, at a Flat Top, using Mark June's "Widowmaker", Predator Perfect's "TX Twister", and Winter's Red Fox urine. Middle coon was also caught in a Duke 550, at a Flat Top, using Predator Potion's "Predator Bait #1", Young's Bait & Lures' "Ambush", and Southern Snares' Mink urine. Last of all, Mr 20# Tom Kitty was caught in a Duke 650, at a set I learned from Barry Goe, using red fox scat, and Winter Wildlife Control's Red Fox urine.

Thanks for keeping this thread going guys. It's not really looking like I'm going to be doing much trapping at all this season but I may be able to do a few rats in the spring. I dunno. Great pictures and catches guys.
