Uhmmm odd , I never felt that way when I found out some one had copied my ideas on my calling unit into their unit, and when I contacted them they told me that quote, after which I asked for my residuals on his sales, he hung up !!

Typically I prefer the original versions I'm used to but here a new that IMO are even better than the original versions...

I usually hear a few covers when I am out and live music is onstage. I am feel entertained but seldom think the cover comes anywhere close to the original.
Here are a couple noteworthy exceptions:

"Whiskey in the Jar" dates back to around 1650. Thousands of people have sung it in the last 370 years or so. I posted both the versions you mentioned earlier in this very thread, plus other versions of it.
