So I always see folks talking about how there are so many bad trapping YouTube videos out there so on and so forth. So to help with that wanted to but together a ....peer reviewed, I guess would be the term, lost of YouTube videos can be posted for all to see. So it's pretty simple, got a video that's "good" please just post a link below (pretty please help me out a little and post links to individual videos. I don't always have time to go though a channel and pick and choose )and I'll add it to the first post here so that it can be watched on the site and I'll try and categorize them Beaver trapping coyote trapping snaring trap shed fabrication ect. So if you got some good ones please just post a link say where they are in like five words and I'll do the rest. All I ask is let's to keep stuff somewhat kid friendly. A swear every now and then should be that big of a deal but dropping the F-Bomb every three seconds is a big no no. But trappers do cuss so PG -13 is fine .Also please nothing with " graphic or distasteful dispatches" if you think it would freak a soccer mom out please don't. Thank ya kindly
Ed gets my vote. Follows the Kiss system for coyotes. Also watched several of Jeremy Cooley's videos this year and they were good. If a guy uses more than a couple types of sets, lures or bait to trap coyotes I have concerns about his know how. One guy mentioned on this thread came to my area recently to trap and he caught 2 coyotes in a week. I've watched some of Todd Strohecker's videos and enjoyed them.
Paul from Montana Wolf Trapper has some good videos. Not totally clean language, but something like one F-bomb in this years entire set of videos. Which he gives a warning about, although I personally think he could have just edited it out.
There are several guys on youtube with some good channels, also some not so good. As far as keeping things clean (mostly) coon creek outdoors and 330 maniac are some of my favorites. 330 is an amazing beaver trapper and shows alot of good info, and coon creek is an all around trapper from showing predator sets, to fur handling videos, and even how to sharpen a fleshing knife. These are 2 of my favorites that keep it clean, for the most part anywho.
From my understanding, Ed upgraded his microphone to cut down the wind noise, towards the end of this season. Next season, his sound should be better.
Just ride watching one of his latest videos. Hope that wasn't done with his new system as it was just as painful to watches some of his earlier ones. Needs a Bluetooth system with a foam cover for the mic to cut the wind noise. I talked to him about it this summer at our state meet but he didn't seem to interested. Lots of good information lost with all that noise.
Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

Just beware of the videos that feel the need to tell you the brand name of their traps or that this lure is the best. Or anyone using all caps for video titles. I like the videos that explain technique and tips, not the ones that say you have to use this trap and this lure to catch coyotes.
I think more trappers have been caught because of youtube videos than coyotes
