But still scraping and boarding. Hope to have most pelts done in time to send north… not that I expect much for them but to get them gone lol.
Lots of castor from Vermont run but enough from here to make a nice mix. Just under 16 lbs total. Not something I want to do again, but something I won’t forget.

April is autism awareness month. Nearly 1 in every 100 children are born with an autism spectrum disorder.. 1 in 100. Stop and think about it...please

That's how it's done. Good job. Castor buyers like to see them look like that.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I ended up with 25 lbs of dry castor from 118 beaver. Real close to 5 beaver to the lb.

That's how it's done. Good job. Castor buyers like to see them look like that. Thanks you BP. And you certainly are an authority on the water pigs. Now if I can just get them all scraped and boarded I can clean up for the year. If I counted correctly, I skinned around 90 to get the 15lb, 11oz. Not all had castors worth removing. A few small i set aside for lure, but that’s the rest in the pic. Had a few between 8 and 10 oz
