For years now i have settled on sealed ammo cans for lure storage from season to season. What does everyone else like to use for storing lures?

Just a shelf in the garage

Hung a cabinet (with door) in the shop

A problem we are having now in the south is a brutal heat wave. It was 111 deg here and broke a 150 yr record. That level of heat for an extended period in my mind would definitely effect lures, baits and urine. I put all my supplies in an old ice chest and sealed it with duct tape good. It’s in the dinning room we don’t use under the table. And yes the wife doesn’t know :-)

Long as they’re sealed good and don’t burst from gas expansion they’re fine. I’ve left lures out all summer and still caught lots of fur with em, and we get over 110 every year. Coolest day the next ten days here is gonna be 97

My baits and lures are in a old refrigerator. Maybe it's over kill after seeing this thread. Lol

My bait a lure in a old not working freezer other wise I would have a ton of Flys in my pole barn! They can smell alot better them man.

I get used styrofoam containers that frozen items are shipped in and store it in them.

Got mine in the back of the truck with a shell over the bed. Plus I park it under the carport.

I keep mine in a small apartment frig in the basement.
