I was thinking him too. Don't think he's anything like, "off the grid" with all his familiarity of technology, though. How about Sharon, American Honey? Don't know if she lives in town or if she's out in the sticks. She's an artist like old Tom who makes knives and other items. She paints some fantastic portraits, writes, etc. Not all that different from Tom on Mountain Men.
Must be nice to eat ice cream as fast as you want and not have to worry about brain freeze.
