I priced 20-foot and 40-foot containers the other day. $3600 for the 20, and $5500 for the 40 footer, with $150/hour delivery charge.

They have basically doubled in the past 5 years.

Its a good idea to have doors on each end of a shed of that length.

With the cost of materials in the end you might have been close to buying another 40' cargo container.

I picked this used one up for $3800 a few yrs ago . It's a 9'.5" high x 40'

I had it in a different location in a nearby town and just recently moved it home . Cost me 600 bucks sick

A buddy of mine had a condensation problem in his. When the Sun hit the roof and inside air was cool, it would drip pretty good. He made a vent high on a side wall and runs a fan on solar/battery. That took care of the problem. Spray foam would fix the problem too but cost more.

I cut a vent in one of the front doors and one at the back wall . I live in a very dry climate so that helps .

But it is one hot muther in there . The roof will get coated white with one of the RV rubber roof type coatings and the new attached roof shed will shade the side that gets afternoon sun so I'm hoping it will stay cooler inside

Looks good Anti, maybe a row of cement board on bottom of eve side to protect your siding, if it’s in the budget, or maybe flashing.?

In fact, today tore down an old storage building.
Now really need more storage.

Looks great, I'm currently having problems with storage myself for traps that I'm trying to keep scent free since the season is only a couple of months away.

Guy down the road just build one similar to that. Had two storage containers side by side about 20 feet apart and made the barn/garage in the middle of them. Roof overhung both units.

That looks really nice! I could see doing this for a skinning shed.

The pricing discussed here make me feel pretty good about the $2,500 + moving that I paid for my 40' several years ago. I bought mine from an individual that had built racks across the front end (doors only on one end) and on both sides for half the length. The shelves are very handy. Mine gets hot even though it has pretty good shade most of the day but I have not had any issues with moisture.

I don't think any man anywhere has ever had too much storage space!
