I've only paid for one oil change in my, and it was because they did a oil flush. Buying mobile one and Ac-Delco filters I'm close to 30 dollar's a change.
Let me sugar coat this

Not hard to believe,
My cost at the shop for good oil the newer cars require runs anywhere from 5.99 and up a quart. So at a minimum the shop has 30 bucks in oil, another 4 in the filter and an hours labor to their mechanic plus his health insurance, retirement 401 and on and on to things like insurance on your vehicle in case something happens to it.
It ain't all peaches and cream to be in business! I hear what your saying but it doesn't take an hour to change oil and filter. Only minutes. An hour is the minimum they charge you in the books
