It looks fine, from my house. Yep, once a carpenter always a carpenter!

Well, besides structural weakness (no headers) on a load bearing wall, etc., the window itself appears to be a slider window turned sideways to act as a double hung window (??) you can't tell if there is a header or not behind the insulation. its a DH window not a slider from the looks of the sash locks. could be on a gable wall with trusses thus no bearing needed

What I want to know is why is the wall opened up, remodel or what?

Lacking two sill jacks, spacing is incorrect, (should be a trimmer all the way to the bottom plate supporting header), "header" is totally inadequate, insulation is so poorly done it may as well not be there, code requires that Romex be stapled within six inches of the box.
I wonder what other nightmares are hiding behind the insulation ? Yup. There are a lot of guys that can buy a truck load of tools but only a few are carpenters. Mac

But what we know for certain is that there are no 'trimmers' or cripples supporting a header if there is one hidden behind the insulation. We can see that there are only two full studs from the top plate to the bottom. Nothing to support a hidden header

Looks like the window was added later . Probably from the outside only
Original stud spacing was correct until Joe homeowner came along ?
