People do not recall very well that during Obammy’s second term crude oil topped $100 a barrel. There are some investors holding futures contracts at $200 a barrel for December, 2022.
For strictly political reasons, if the current regime (Obammy’s third term) screws up badly enough for gas prices and inflation to both further skyrocket the economy may collapse. Then employees will not be able to drive to work, businesses will fail, and people will go hungry. Maybe it will take such an event to teach many people the folly of electing corrupt politicians to RULE them instead of honest people to REPRESENT them.

Pretty sure price of oil never got to $200 a barrel. I think I'd remember, since I own a bunch of oil. I think it topped out in the $130 area during obama.

Thanks for catching the typo. I corrected it.
And actually it was $147.50 in July, 2008. Here in Ohio gasoline was $4.85 a gallon.

I sense some prejudice, or maybe misinformation. Neither should be spread. Say what you think is any of that so it could be addressed, if it exists.

Electric is looking better all the time. Where does the power come from that comes from the outlet? Good grief!
How many lies will people believe before they realize their own idiocy?

That 140 Marty posted was about the top. Alaska had so much money Sarah paid us an extra 2000 bucks each. I think the arabs would love 200 buck oil! Putin too!

Electric is looking better all the time. Where does the power come from that comes from the outlet? Good grief! The best and cheapest comes from hydro and nuclear. Mines is all hydro.

Electric is looking better all the time. Where does the power come from that comes from the outlet? Good grief! Ontario Power Generation Inc. (OPG) is a Crown corporation[2][3] and "government business enterprise"[4] that is responsible for approximately half of the electricity generation in the province of Ontario, Canada.[5] It is wholly owned by the government of Ontario.[6] Sources of electricity include nuclear, hydroelectric, wind, gas and biomass. Although Ontario has an open electricity market, the provincial government, as OPG's sole shareholder, regulates the price the company receives for its electricity to be less than the market average, in an attempt to stabilize prices.[citation needed] Since 1 April 2008, the company's rates have been regulated by the Ontario Energy Board.

We are blessed here with all kinds of natural resources. Since we own it we can charge you more for it and give ourselves cheap electricity. They just discovered another motherload of nickel right here-just outside of Timmins-5th largest on the planet.Bigger than Sudbury. That will make lots of batterys.Just gotta make sure they dont pollute the water. They are throwing a ton of money around and giving the people ownership thru shares.
