I never liked the knee pads, made my knees sore and were very uncomfortable for me to wear all day. I am sure everyone has their habit of using what works for them. ks wolfer trapper K Joined: Jul 2018 KS	I use a heavy rubber foam pad (like the telephone guys use-- its at harbor freight and online) --- on top of my canvas got away from knee pads as I interact with landowners, stop at the convenience store etc it advertises your activities

20scout trapper Joined: Nov 2017 West Central MN	30 years of construction has left my knees a mess. I use knee pads as it's one less thing I need to remember on my line and ithey are always there. Common sense is a not a vegetable that does well in everyone's garden.

TheCoyotero trapper T Joined: Jul 2018 USA	I have tried both kneeling pads and knee pads both and didn't like them. I either forget them or they fall down to my ankles in my walking around. A couple of years ago I bought a pair of Dan's waterproof leg chaps and love them. Of course they don't have the pads but they work really well in keeping you dry. Hope this helps... I spray scent killer on the knee pads when I wear them, and they are the type that have hard plastic where they contact the ground. Not sure if it helps with scent or not, but it makes me feel better about it. Really dont want to admit it, but I bought one of those thicker yoga mat deals from Walmart for a pad. Just cut it to the size I wanted. Embarrassing.
