20 gallon is what I seem to remember. That's a good sized crock , worth some bucks.

We used to figure the were worth 10 dollars a gallon of they weren't cracked. The market has gone up some, I can't say for sure as I don't follow it much any more.

We used to figure the were worth 10 dollars a gallon of they weren't cracked. The market has gone up some, I can't say for sure as I don't follow it much any more. Haven't checked in a few years at least 10-12 , have a 40 , a 20 and a couple 5 and 10. Hey I'm ready for retirement lol.

Crocks, American ones, are usually numbered by gallon capacity. I believe that's Quarts, not Gallons.

Crocks, American ones, are usually numbered by gallon capacity. I believe that's Quarts, not Gallons. It's gallons, if it was quarts , a 5 wouldn't be much bigger than a gallon of milk. I've got a 3 that I just looked at, and it's closer to a 5 gallon bucket than a gallon of milk.
