Really enjoyed the convention. Thanks to all people that put it on, the guys that did demos and the vendors. Met Danny, Flint Hills, Wheelers and a few other new trapping friends (missed Pawnee, think hes avoiding me or something). Got the pleasure to visit with Lee, Cletis, Marty ,Ed and Smokey Hill again. More I meet the more I look forward to the next one. Left with some lure from Keg Creek, another Steinmeyer knife, some coyote board and a cherry pie. Great time. Thanks again everyone
Ps I did get a snort of of Lee's wine too. Was like drinking a cherry pie with a bit of nudge afterwards. Lee makes first class products! Luckly for Lee i was driving home or he would have had a new BFF until the bottle was empty:)

My youngest son and I were there too, I'm not much of the type to emphasize who I am to everyone I meet, so didn't do a lot of "socializing". We DID get some good deals on some stuff, and learned a bunch from the demos! Special shout out to R&M Lures for helping my son out with some bait! Thanks to ALL who organized/coordinated this event!

The numbers may have been a little lower than in the past but a great convention.
I will not mention names for to miss one would be bad. Every active member (most of the membership) worked their tails off
assuring there were no blips in the schedule and grounds. My hat is off to everyone, and it made the drive well worth it!

I was hoping to see a bunch of pictures.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Enjoying a bowl of Lennys ham and beans right now! He builds a killer pot of beans! Ate them for so many meals, there is a blue haze following me around. Not sure, but I think it may be dangerous! grin

I will say them beans was top shelf. Len is one heck of a bean cook and it seems he can also make some fine cornbread to go with them. MMMMMgood.
