My personal run stock account is up 1.5 percent so far today, so not bad. CDs are looking rather attractive, so are ten year bonds. I'm waiting until mid November.

Oh, and there are going to be better days to buy in the future.

Thru LPL financial. They charge 5 bucks a transaction. I've gotten 2 in last couple months. Latest was 3.99 or 4 have to check exact for 6 months. Just rolled over my 457 that year to date had earned .98% . Nope I'll take 4.35 for 18 months. In Dec after fed raises they might see up to 5.5. It's credit card banks selling money . One is with goldman sachs. Other is thru capitol one. New report out every morning. They had one today for 3 months @4.65% but it went fast. They have a certain amount you can aquire and when that's gone you have missed it. ALL are FDIC insured.
Local bank has one of their offices inside.

As far as 4 percent CDs, they are out there. Edward Jones is offering a 12 month CD minimum $1000, 4.1 percent.

2 year t bonds are paying over 4 percent and are exempt from most if not all state income tax.

After today's inflation figures, it leaves little doubt the FED will raise rates 75 basis points again in November

I don’t know market is up 800 pts today. You might be losing your touch jbyrd! Still lot’s of room to go down in my opinion. However as they say it’s time in the market that’s important, not timing the market.

Just got 10 K in an I bond good for now. The market will come around but will be wild for awhile more good buying opportunities for short term rally..
