That's awesome I'm going to try some of that this season, did you use a pattern? No, just measured my head and made an oval of that circumference, and made 2 side panels of the same length, 4" tall each. Used artificial sinew to sew it up.

Looks good. I need to learn how to sew.
I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Spent a couple hours this morning making my first raccoon hat. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Had my beautiful bride model it, as I'm much too ugly for that sort of thing. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2022/10/full-52051-154581-img_20221023_131314099_hdr.jpg) I'm debating about whether or not to add a face and a tail, but wifey says she'll wear it out in public as long as I keep it the way it is. I suppose I could make another one for myself with a face and a tail. Women pay good money for a frosty dew like that.

Looks good. I need to learn how to sew. While your bread is proofing ...you could make good use of that time and sew some fur...or knit a Pair of socks .

Looks good. I need to learn how to sew. Its easier than you think. Hardest part for me is going after a perfectly good fur with a knife to cut out the parts. Get a good, sharp knife for cutting the fur. Get good glover's needles and a thimble, I like a leather thimble versus a metal one. You can use button hole or thread for jeans, wax it well. Clothespins work to hold the fur pieces together as you sew.

I think I'll start there before I mess up some good fur lol. I really should have learned years ago. Nessy, maybe we could start a sewing circle here.
