That's awesome I'm going to try some of that this season, did you use a pattern? No, just measured my head and made an oval of that circumference, and made 2 side panels of the same length, 4" tall each. Used artificial sinew to sew it up.

Looks good. I need to learn how to sew. While your bread is proofing ...you could make good use of that time and sew some fur...or knit a Pair of socks .

Looks good. I need to learn how to sew. Its easier than you think. Hardest part for me is going after a perfectly good fur with a knife to cut out the parts. Get a good, sharp knife for cutting the fur. Get good glover's needles and a thimble, I like a leather thimble versus a metal one. You can use button hole or thread for jeans, wax it well. Clothespins work to hold the fur pieces together as you sew.

I think I'll start there before I mess up some good fur lol. I really should have learned years ago. Nessy, maybe we could start a sewing circle here.
