My experience is that quite often young girls are better learners than boys Us men think we know it all and don't need to told what to do And the girls pay attention so they are starting out not learning bad habits And think about the logic of making it more difficult for girls /young women to become part of the hunting /trapping group in our country .They are 50 % of the population . It is not that many years ago that the Sportmen's club I belong to voted to allow women to become members And it was a very hotly contested issue .Now they are on the board of directors and other leadership positions Helping with what ever needs to be done Some old ways are hard to leave behind But it is encouraging to see that we all can help everyone man or women enjoy the same things we grew up doing . And by the way Emma that's a nice deer Which came first the deer or the smile ?Bet no one needed to say smile !!..

Good for her! I love seeing these young gals into hunting.
That's the same rifle I won in a raffle and gave to my granddaughter. She's a little older than your granddaughter and has shot several deer with it. I love the detachable magazine on those.
Congratulations to her for sure!
