Took a road trip that ended up in Wheeling West Virginia. Very interesting old historic town. Something that stood out to me was that there were no boats on the Ohio River except barges and tugs. No boat launches, no public access signs, no marinas, no bait shops-what gives? I know it's late in the season, but the minute I returned to Michigan, the very first body of water had a dozen boats at the marina. Any ideas?

I'm familiar with the early history of the area but, no, I can't recall.

Walleye should be biting, I'd think they would be fishing it too.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

I sure wouldnt keep anything to eat out of the Ohio, especially in that area. Thats just me. I also wouldnt swim or waterski there either. Alot of dangerous old waste and pcb"s etc if my old memory serves me correctly.
