Nice! I couldn't make enough time to go after them this fall.
Rumors of my assimilation have been greatly exaggerated.

That is a fine adventure with pictures . Are these mostly bank beavers in a river ? Is your quiet water skimmed over with ice ? Thanks for the pictures .

Ken blind sets on trails Everyone it’s grey that makes it a juvenile and nice and tender and a tundra swan we like to stick them in turkey bags with potatoes and carrots do the same thing with cranes G Smith they have houses in the side sloughs and creeks even a few on the main river just no dams I didn’t play ice breaker this year but I have in the past
We get out of life only as much as we really want and work hard enough to achieve

Don't know if whistler or tundra swan but know long lived birds and so the tough ones. Always found w a goose, if u do not know if old or young, put in oven, at 300 degrees, about 9 AM if u want for supper. If young will fall apart in not more than 3 hrs and if old u will need up to 7 hrs. Trick is keep temp. at 300 so will not dry out. Never met a goose yet that enough oven time could not fix but met a few that took quite a bit of cooking. Frequent basting and when starts to fall apart a bit of paprika sprinkled over breast at 350 for the last 15 minutes.
Nothing the wrong w boiled goose either but again old ones require a lot of cooking to fall off bone or you can cut the cooking a bit short and chew on them a bit lol. Found disjointing them and cutting bigger chunks of meat into bit size pieces helps a lot before cooking.
Great load of bvr's. Those baby swans are very tender, my favorite eating bird. or the tough ones like older geese and swans,a half hour is all thats needed to make them fall off the bone in a pressure cooker. Looks like your wife will have plenty of fur to work this winter. Looks like fun.

I like to soak swan in milk over night, cut into small pieces, then dip in eggs, then roll in flour and cajun seasoning and fry, make gravy out of the dregs in the pan, eat with mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. The younger ones are more tender, but as I still have my teeth, even older birds are good. 10 gauge rules for swan.
