My daughter had head lice twice when she was little. Got them from playing with other kids

Original Listerine will kill them, pour on and leave wet, cover with a shower cap for 30min, comb out hair with fine comb. Repeat every 5 days to get any you missed for about 3 cycles.
Make sure to wash your bedding as well

I had a friend that his kids got them from school and brought home to the family, vet for the cattle operation his wife worked for said to mix dog dip like you are talking about in a gallon of warm water and pour over head in shower. He tried it and it worked. Said it did cause a metallic taste but he was fine otherwise

LMBO.
I've never had them but I suspect diesel fuel would do the trick

I hate ticks and chiggers but I routinely get into them.

Lice? I would strongly consider burning my house down.

Quit screwing around and stick a crow bar in your wallet and go buy a bottle of the PROPER soap made for PEOPLE! Flea soap is a poison that DOGS can tolerate.
Kids get lice at school all the time, you can find PEOPLE soap most any where.

My wife was a teacher and my kids also got lice from students and friends at school. Our old family doctor said to use everclear. Its cheap and it doesn't dry your hair out

Permethrin at the feed store. Wash every thing in it. Bedding clothes. Spray your furniture with it

When I was just a pup, pine tar oil was used to get rid of head lice and ring worm.

I always just filled a tub with kerosene and Lysol soaked in it. Took care of lice and dingle berries help with the hemorrhoids.
With the price of fuel right now probably better off just doing Walmart trip.

Hartz Flea and Tick worked fine for me. I had crabs when young and was too embarrassed to see a doctor. Inexpensive, didn't do anything with bedding or clothing, just re used a few days later.

Rid is one shampoo that can be used. Sold at any drug store and Walmart. Kids had some that required a prescription shampoo. My Mother said back in the 1930’s the remedy was to coat the hair and scalp with kerosene and wash it out. I might try the everclear first though if I ever have the need again.

Head lice is one insect that has become immune to the chemicals in the shampoos ...there lies the problem

Does that plant that burns off all the toxic chemicals near you ? Have someone save some DDT when it comes through...a little dab will do-ya

Shampoo with diesel fuel and blow dry with a propane torch.

There was a Grad student already to set up her studies in the schools here on the insects resistance to the lice.
The year prior to her starting there was 400 schools reporting the problem. So it was a concern that had to be looked into.
Study year the case numbers went to ZERO
seems the administration did not want any, may I say ANY publicity of head lice problems
Academic freedom of research got chocked off

Mayonnaise!! Yes, Mayo. Massage it through your hair and pack it heavy… put a plastic shower cap or bag over your hair,,, leave for about an hour,,, it suffocates them,,,, the vinegar in the Mayo will help soften the nuts and make easier to comb out,,,, and your hair will be nice and shiny and healthy. Seriously. We used this when my girls were little….. it really works

Google it or have doctor prescribe ivermectin that’s labeled for head lice!
