Nice catch. Little fellers, ain't they. Looks like coyote bait!

I enjoy trapping mice almost as much as catching muskrats. I don't know why.

Do you just push the fat off with the dull edge of the fleshing knife?
Or do you use the sharp part around the neck like on a coon first?

That picture should be on the cover of a trapping magazine.

Do you use Skippy or Jiff? Crunchy works better for pack rats.

This may be dumb, but do mice actually like cheese?

They eat anything, very destructive I have an on going battle with them to keep them out of my trucks, pack rats too. I guess they like cheese, peanut butter is easier to use and it works.

Nice work! I just finish putting out my longline for roof rats. (one rat trap in the shed). I'm sitting here like a kid, anxious to go check it every half hour. smile

I got behind the game in my garage this summer. It was infested with mice. I was setting the line, and it seemed like every 15 minutes...SNAP!. Was pretty fast action for a couple three days.

I catch them year round where I live-but now our city( BYLAW) banned the use of glue traps outside LMFAO. Like why? if its in my own yard-seriously. So I have been running about 6 snap traps in the garage and outside-like a little kid checking them all the time.
