Good snow machine choice. I had a couple Wide Tracks in the 90’s and put lots of miles on them and didn’t have any problems. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2022/10/full-55021-155236-e220eb3d_4576_4db9_93c4_062cef7ed98a.jpeg)

I love the smell of burning spruce---I love the sound of a spring time goose---I love the feel of 40 below---from my trapline I will never go!

I’m heading out to the line today, gonna spend 4 or so days out getting some marten and cat sets out. Gonna have to do everything on foot also, barely any snow up here. Forecast says we should be getting some on Thursday though. Hope you guys get dumped on too

You will double your money on cat hides if you’ll wait until the 1st of the year to trap them. Huge difference in color and fullness.

Trailblazersteve is spot on, you'll be catching brown bellies for sure!! Otherwise I hope you see plenty of sign. Rabbits crashed a few years back in my area and it's been slim pickin's except for beaver and rats but I am seeing more rabbit sign this year

Just ugly before that

Yessir gotta get some money coming in. A few lynx and a few fox to get by till the fur is really nice would suffice for now. I got a lot of land to cover with lots of critters.
Got some bills to pay and mouths to feed
Came back to get snow machine, got lots of snow last night. Saw lots and lots of rabbit tracks, a quite a few lynx. Found where some wolves have been swinging through, put out some snares for them.
