Will that plane fly or is it just a model. Yes it will fly wildly with the 35cc gas engine. Been flying RC for 50 some years.

What do you do for a Hobby?
I think Trapping, Hunting and fishing is more of a life style but, what do you do in the off season? No such thing as off season in the south

I can't even imagine going a day without engaging in one or more "hobbies". I wish the day had at least 48 hours. I no longer commercial trap or commercial fish, so my hunting, trapping, and fishing are now hobbies. In addition:
sawmilling small log cabin building knife building writing trapping articles for various outlets pine needle basketry skull cleaning and collecting snake research mammal skull technical drawing book writing nature photography birding small mammal collecting for museums fly tying ad infinitum
Do you use the dermestid beetles for skull cleaning.

Do you use the dermestid beetles for skull cleaning. No Grandpa, I do not. I had a good colony for many years in an old chest freezer with a light bulb for heat. Worked fantastic. But I found that I couldn't contain the beetles. My furs and my mounts would all eventually get dermestids, no matter what I did to kill them in the house. I got rid of the beetles. I now use crackpot cooking or, in some cases, maceration.

My life has always included many hobbies that have become what some people would designate as passions and even lifestyles. Since grade school, it has been my goal to learn something new everyday. Through my involvement in my faith, family, education, career, and these hobbies, passions, and lifestyle, I have easily accomplished that goal. The result has been an interesting and full life along with a lot of gear and equipment.
At my age and health condition, it seems wise to consider the future and specifically my future. Therefore I have been planning, organizing, and gradually working on a pre-need advance estate sale. I certainly would not want to leave this arduous task to my sweet wife. Although she has encouraged me to enjoy life and not sell things that enrich life. When reducing, divesting, and selling instead of increasing, investing, and buying gear and equipment I have a slightly different refreshed perspective. Plus, there is a little less clutter and a little more cash to cache away in savings. And hopefully there will be enough return to fund a fishing vacation for us next year.

I am finding myself is a very similar situation even my wife would agree with yours. Good luck Willy. I do some metal detecting, but I do still work at my regular job. Since I will be retiring the end of this year, I will be working to eradicate the buckthorn in my woods and there's a lot of it. For a break from that, I'll spend it fishing.
Wife: That's the 4th time you've gone back for dessert, doesn't that embarrass you? Me: No, I keep telling them it's for you.

Willy I agree with your line of thinking Many times I have told others that i hope I learn something new every day for as long a I live Because if that is happening my mind and body are in good enough condition to maintain and active life .And if you are having a positive impact on someone each day what more can you ask for
