I've been looking for trapping pics on Here from yall and haven't seen many.

Probably waiting for the fur to become fully prime. Right now it's just red fox in the north, otter will come on soon. Early fur this year will be tough to sell to the fur market. Unless you tan and sell to the public that usually can't tell good bad or ugly unless they have something beside it to compare. Skin most with feet on this year, skunks, fox, coyotes, otter, marten, mink, anything with relatively furry feet.

Waiting until Dec 1st here.

In New York some seasons open on October 25, others, November 1. I prefer to wait until the fur is prime, regardless of when the seasons open.

Season opened on the 10th here. With work I just decided to wait till today to set. Set a small line of 42 traps today. Gonna put some water sets out tomorrow.

Only had 8 days off and enjoyed every second.

I haven't even looked, I usually start round thanksgiving.

Fur season starts November 20th, I'll be setting on the 19th. Only targeting mink.

November 1st, already have a lot of pics posted in my thread under Trapping only.

Think ours is Dec 1. Mine starts after deer season ends, about the second weekend of January.

Year around when I have any problems. And only taking out varmints on the farm this year.

Ours comes in Nov 14th. I won't start until after Thanksgiving traveling is put to bed, so probably right about Dec 1

Season opened first weekend in Nov. no traps set for us until next weekend though.

November 15th here and I my just set a few and get the itch scratched.
