Did I mention they or at least mine are very accurate, lol?

What ammo? Thanks.

Just Remington Thunderbolts…I buy the 500rd bulk packs. Haven’t had an issue yet.

My nephew bought a Wrangler his is silver and black, he brought it by the house and we shot it quite a bit I was impressed with the accuracy of it but it did shoot low and right with every type of ammo we shot through it but it was consistent so you could learn where to hold and be okay. I can't speak to the durability of the finish as this one was brand new. I wouldn't get rid of my single six to get one but if I run across a used one for decent money I would seriously consider getting one to leave on the UTV for varmints around the farm.

Jayme, have you thought about buying a heritage? grin

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

yes all of them are cerocaote frames and barrels with a blued steel cylinder

to make that price point it is all about making them fast with fewer steps , the some of the coating is on non steel alloy that wouldn't take bluing.

K91773 , it is their low budget single six , it was never intended to replace your single six , just use the same holster and hit a target market of people who want a 200-250 dollar gun.
a market that was rather lonely with just Heritage and imports

this offers most of what a single six gives you at almost half the price

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Thanks for the info everyone. I have received pictures from a couple guys on the wear of the finish, honestly I think it adds character and I buy guns to use not to look at so I won't be too upset if it gets dropped or scratched. I ordered the one in the link above (from my local gun shop) and a holster direct from Ruger to fit it. I'll bet the boy will be happy with it.

Does anyone have the birds head grip model? I saw one the other day and that grip looked pretty small.

That's what I'm getting. I hated the full sized Heritage and that's why I never bought a Wrangler until they came out with these.

I just looked and the birds head grip has a 3.75" barrel. With that grip and short barrel I bet it would be a fine gun for the trapline. Be a lot easier to carry than my old High Standard 6" Sentinal.

I agree. That's what it'll be used for.

My cousin had one when we were kids. It would not stay in time. My brother in law gave Mt 12 year old one foe x Mas last year. Its junk. The barrel was loose its and its out of time. It also does not shoot to point of aim.

Don't stant to the side of someone shooting it over pieces of lead that shave off the bullet will hit you.

For those that don't expect much or know any better I guess thay may be great? In my limited experience 100% of the time they are junk.

I bought my boy a single ten and tossed that h&r in my sock drawer. I can't even give it away and feel ok with that.
