Italian carcano.What a clunker
But Lee Harvey Oswald killed JFK with one while Kennedy was barreling down the road; head shot too. Yea, right. I had one of those Italian war rifles brought here by one of my uncles when World War 2 ended. Shot my first deer with it.

Bought one of the early AMT backups and couldn’t even pull the trigger on it with one finger, when I took it to the gunsmith he measured the trigger pull at 57 pounds

I love these threads !!! Savage 340 in 222 ,accurate but clunky. A rifle with no soul . A BLR that would freeze up in bad weather ,trigger pull was awful ,awkward to cycle .

I was so POed at what a pos it was I gave it to him, Yes he still has it and brings it out to show folks what a safe gun is, I read that they intentionally made them with a extra heavy trigger pull for safety reason as they had no safety so the trigger pull ran around 25/30 pounds, i guess mine was just a little extra safe

Mossberg bolt action .410 that I bought from a friend for $35. I could never hit anything with it. Sold it to someone else.
About 2 weeks later another identical Mossberg bolt action .410. I was riding my bike and saw a pipe sticking out of a trash can. Stopped to investigate and found the gun. I used it for a season hunting squirrels and it shot ok. Still didn’t like it so sold it.
A Savage bolt action slug gun. It had a cheap looking plastic stock with a magazine well. I thought it was the ugliest gun ever made. I hunted with it for one day and shot a nice buck, then sold it. Too ugly for me.

Mossberg bolt action shotgun. used to have one as my truck gun , I didn't think it was that bad , usable at least one round at a time had the C-lect choke system , it was a tight full I will give it that , carved a stripe in the grass getting rid of a few 13 stripers but they definitely were not getting up
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Benelli Super Black Eagle 3...biggest POS ever manufactured
Mine shot 18" high, would not cycle waterfowl shells even after a couple hundred rounds being put through it, had light primer strikes causing fail to fire, etc etc
Had to replace the spring with a Wolf spring that fixed the primer and cycling issues on waterfowl loads. Only issue was that after replacing the spring with the stronger alternative it would no longer cycle standard dove/target lead shot loads
If I spend near 2k on a shotgun it better be flawless
Sold it, bought a beretta and never looked back
Gotta live up to the nickname...
