Driving home from work there was a huge oak tree that dropped acorns all over the ground. Part of it hung over a stream and part over the road. A large beaver was in the road eating acorns. Two nights in a row I honked and flashed lights and it went back in the stream. Third night ir didn’t move. I got out and grabbed its back leges. I “wheelbarrowed” it to the stream. It did not try to bite or threaten at all. Very peaceful.

I have released small ones from leghold when trapping muskrats. They were friendly and playful. They followed me in my canoe.

I’ll just think about it and figure it out.
Good story!

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

My wife's mother was a nurse and the ambulance brought in a badly injured senior lady with dementia. She had life threatening wounds all over her thighs and abdomen. She had been trying, over and over, to pick up her kitty to bring it inside the house. Yah, it was a beaver. Wifes mom told us the bites were large enough to slide your hand into.
