I’m like 99% positive they are beaver, but my son asked if they could be otters. I told him I’d leave it to the professionals to decide.
Guess if they are beavers they like peanuts and corn, lol.

I’d said beaver without the tail being round looking.

100% Beaver.

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

They are hunting through the weekend I think. May get my son to go put up some Belisles if he can find where they’re coming from. Not sure exactly where that camera is. I know we’re hunting all day tomorrow and half a day Sunday. I know he’s off Monday and Tuesday and hunting the rest of next week. Doubt they’ll go anywhere anyways, 2 nights in a row of being on camera.

Beaver love corn. Lived for years on a private N Wisconsin lake that housed a colony of beaver. We had a small sand beach and the beaver would come to the beach and sit just like those in your photos and eat corn. They pick up and hold the individual kernels with their front feet. They did recognize banging on the pail as a signal that new corn was available just as deer did at night.
