I used to use slugs and sabots, but after using a straight wall, there was no going back.

How do they do past a 100 yards?

They both are effective past 100 yards, but I rarely take shots further than that. From what I’ve heard, the 450s effective range is around 250, and 45-70 is between 150-200. All of the deer I’ve shot with the 450 have been under 100, so I can’t say much on that. I’ve shot a few with the 45-70 past 100 though and I haven’t had any issues as long as I was doing my part.

I'd be looking at the 350 legend simply because the ammo seems to be everywhere.

There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

450 Bushmaster and 350 Legend are huge in southern MI.

We hunt in the northern areas where we can use whatever but my dad still uses his 450 Bushmaster. He loves it.

I bought one on a whim years ago and am glad. It's about the only rifle ammo available locally for me. I've now got a lifetime supply and gun shoots great. Very happy I bout it it. My guess is the ammo is available because not too many people own one
