Any one else here deal with it,,, and what do you guys do to make the pain tolerable? I was going thru my mri report and noticed that I’ve got it from c3 to c6. Kinda irked that none of my doctors even told me … my primary, my neurosurgeon and pain specialist. Right now I took a 50 mg tramadol and 2 Tylenol. And running a tens machine. This really flared up after I had my steroid injection for ruptured disc.

My wife at one point in her nursing career worked for a pain doc. I asked her about it. She said to take tylenol extra strength for the pain. If it persists for more than 2 or 3 weeks generally surgery is your next step. Said a lot of times it will correct itself, but sometimes it won't and surgery is really the only option for relief.

I have arthritis of the spine, but it is of the rhuematoid type. I have been taking Humira for 5-7 years. I have no pain whatsoever now. Before it felt like I was pile driven everyday.

I don,t know what a Facet Joint is but I have arthritis everywhere.
For neck pain I have a traction device.
Just pull a chair up to a door set up the pulley rope and hook up the neck thing.
In a few minutes the neck feels better.
Haven't needed it for a long time now.
just

Facet joints are the interlocking joints of your vertebrae

Has a doctor mentioned use of an inversion machine where you can hang upside down for a few minutes at a time ?

No, I’m probably to far gone for one of those. I’m going to ask my chiropractor a few questions tomorrow

I go tomorrow morning for a consultation on the steroid shot for osteoarthritis in a facet joint in my lower back. Hoping to get my sciatica under control.
