I just tonight finished vac sealing 937 lbs. of boneless, skinless, chicken breasts and chicken "party wings" with this sealer. It's been a busy week. grin

Nesco is the best you can fet without going to chamber vac. Sure Westons are more expensive but no real additional benefits.

Yes, I use the exact vac sealer at least once a week. Just put up two deer. Also 15 lbs of sausage. Seven pheasants and 28 quail - all last week. We put up garden vegetables, fish, etc. had mine for going on four years without a single problem. Cant say that for any food saver brand I have ever had.

Vacuum sealers are great. Ours is getting a little worn but it seems like every so often if I take a damp rag and rub it on the rubber seal, it works again.

My Food saver died this year, I want to say it's at least 15 years old. Owes me nothing, but caught me off guard when I got my 1st of the year. It vacuumed but wouldn't seal. In a panic, I went on Amazon and found this. 36k reviews and has a 4.5 rating. I got it for $45 Black Friday deal. I'll let anyone interested know how it works out. I just need to pack this one away! It is light use, 1 maybe 2 deer a year, I'm not looking for heavy duty but want a good deal and several year's use. Will be here 12/05. I don't expect it to last long term but hope it gets me through 3-4 deer this year.
