That is a great buck CH, and it sounds like you did him a favor to take him when you did.

RN's buck is as wide as they get I think

I am horrible at taking pictures at deer camp , the few I do take are typically in the dark as an after though.
I live to much in the moment and there is always something to be doing if there is daylight wish I had more pictures

Beautiful amazing Deer

Congratulations

Melanistic?

Melanistic would be black. Leucistic is the lack of dark pigment without being true albino.

From 1993 to 2008 I joined the pope and young Club four times and would now like to know how to join the spoon and crock pot Club. Asking for my grandson.

The rest are memories.

They are under him in the Spruce bog. He went straight down when I shot him and I had a heck of a time getting him out of there.

I have nothing clever to put here.

I killed this buck last season after chasing him 3 years. He had a 3rd beam in the center of his head that had been broken off, it had its own pedicle as well [Linked Image]

This is not the prettiest, but the biggest at 267# dressed weight after two days of hanging.

I'm just happy to be here! Today I'm as young as I'll ever be and and older than I've ever been before!

Some truly amazing pics guys! Have not shot anything close in size to those hogs. My largest in rack and body I never got a pic of. It was a deer drive and the group drove it straight to me. Was fun but fast. I let the youngster in the group tag it. I think he was 12. He could not believe I gave it to him. He was on cloud nine for sure! great memory
