You are doing well prayers sent

Still unable to work or drive because of my vision. I did see an oncologist recently to start a follow-up plan of MRI's. I'm feeling pretty good, just wish my eyeballs would cooperate! The medication I'm on Alsop has come nasty side effects but other wise, I'm doing fine! I didn't expect to be off work this long but I'm just glad to be here and that my results were benign.

we all dont think of how driving or not being able to effects us , until it happens....ask any senior who has their licence taken away

Stay strong ! What are you doing for the vision trouble ? Will it get better with time or are you doing some kind of therapy or exercises ? Are you seeing a neuro-optometrist? Keep up the fight !

My wife had double vision after her stroke, for about ten days, it was weird when it happened.
Every nurse and Dr would ask how many fingers am I holding up?
First night we had William for a nurse, he was from Africa, he did all the questions like the others, and instead of asking how many fingers he held up, he leans in closer and says to Kathy, so, how many black men do you see!
OMG! We all three laughed so hard, I wasn't expecting that, he was always fun

You are in my prayers Princess... Hang tough and think about tomorrow and all of those muskrats you haven't caught and just waiting for you to string some steel.

Someone once asked a few years ago what the hub bub was all about with Kristen, particularly the high number of views generated by her posts.
This poster was not exactly conveying a positive vibe.
I have thought about it for quite some time. Yes, she has an endearing, and infectious smile, and beautiful eyes, but that is not it.
What it is for me is that she represents the type of gal who any father could only hope to have as a daughter. An outdoors person who traps etc, and is so pleasant all of the time.
My best wishes to you Kristen. Deep down I don't feel that you need my well wishes. You are going to make a full recovery. You just need to believe that. It will happen.
