I see Virgin Atlantic is going to Safe Aviation Fuel (SAF) from used vegetable oils and fats. This may turn into a market for beaver and coon fat! Who knows, we might all get rich on what is now a waste product.
Never too old to learn

How much money did the greenies give them to do that?
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.

They don't talk about the downside. Energy density per unit is lower than traditional jet fuel, it costs more than twice as much, and it must be mixed 50/50 with traditional jet fuel to give dependable performance.
The industry doesn't expect to bring costs into line until 2037. I think I'd wait to store up that coon and beaver fat Just throw it in the wood stove and save a bit on chainsaw gas. "as the greasy smoke, in an inky cloak, went streaming across the sky"

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I'm sure the D.C. Demonrats will be the first to switch to this fuel in their jets. They don't talk about the downside. Energy density per unit is lower than traditional jet fuel, it costs more than twice as much, and it must be mixed 50/50 with traditional jet fuel to give dependable performance.

Some of us use rendered raccoon fat for everything you use butter for. Extremely valuable to me. Coon fat on a big ol' baked tater? Hard pass!
