Just why is it us human gun nuts are never satisfied? I've been thinking about getting a different critter getter. I've narrowed it down a bit. Thinking about a 22 Hornet, maybe a Ruger #3. Don't ask me why, because I can maybe. I've got other 22's, 223, 22-250, 220 Swift, etc. and NEED one like I need some other things. What ya think?

some people buy new furniture before it wears out , paint the walls before it is worn , get a new car every few years , spend a fortune on decorating for every season.
we get our fix from guns.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Considering the current climate the only justifiable explanation needed is why not another AR type and several combat loads of ammunition and the gear needed to keep it. Or a comparable effort into the political activity needed to keep it. This has me watching for rugers small framed ar I'm 308. Just have not seen one on the shelf yet. Probably will end up with 3 if the boys like them.

I'd pic the .222 Rem over the Hornet too. A couple of years ago I sold a 788 that I bought in the late 1960's. It was a darn good shooter but always split the case necks after only one or two loadings. A little while later I picked up a heavy barrel 700 in .222. The 788 was slightly sub MOA but the 700 cloverleafs at 100 yds. Like you, it was just something I wanted to have and play with.

Buy, buy, buy!! Nothing like a new gun!
There comes a point liberalism has gone too far, we're past that point.
